Description

Featured is a circa 1911-1912 S110 “Indians” large premium silk pillow top. Images of Chief Sitting Bull and Osceola are joined by nineteenth century depictions of Indian customs and daily practices. Measuring 22-3/4 x 23”, this delicate tapestry is accentuated by an arrangement of native artwork and further crowned by an interestingly placed American flag in the middle of the fabric. Displays expected compacting folds along with mild peripheral fraying, pinholes on each corner, minimal discoloration and traces of tape residue. Additional fabric creasing and mild surface toning does not disrupt the visual appeal. Ideal for further framing and display in the office of the non-sport enthusiast.
